deft has grown out of more than 20 years' experience in architectural & interior design.  What began as bespoke furniture, joinery & specialist procurement for individual projects has naturally evolved into a specialist discipline in its own right.  Today we focus on the design and manufacture of bespoke & own-brand furniture, alongside the specialist procurement of products for contemporary ways of living & working.

 

whilst we are primarily focused on furniture, our architectural background allows us to support integrated design projects where thinking & making are closely aligned.  We adapt to the structure of each project, supporting clients directly or working alongside architects & designers, depending on what best serves the outcome.  Our role is to bridge design intent & making with clarity, care and collaboration.
